Artist Development Consultations


Our consultation service is designed for emerging artists who want a practical plan for their music projects and support in navigating the music industry.


Whether you’re just getting started or looking to level up, these sessions provide focused, honest guidance tailored to your goals, genre and current stage.


Each session combines strategic advice with actionable planning, helping you move forward with confidence and clarity.


Our Artist Development Consultations are led by Amplify’s Founder and Managing Director, Sheena Madden, and Senior Account Director, Matt Harris. Between them, they bring some 40 years of experience across diverse areas of the music industry.


Sheena’s background spans media, journalism, PR and marketing, while Matt’s experience is rooted in life as an artist, music production, running a label, live performance and business development.


We created these consultations specifically for independent artists and have priced them to remain as accessible as possible. The structure is deliberately practical and outcome-focused, and depending on your goals we typically recommend between one and three sessions.

Sheena Madden

Founder & Managing Director

Sheena has over 20 years’ experience across journalism, radio and music PR, working at the intersection of media, culture and artist development.


Before founding Amplify in 2019, she worked as a freelance journalist before joining RTÉ as both a press officer and journalist.

During her time there, she produced an award-winning documentary, earning two New York Festivals World Radio Awards. Her wider work across journalism and PR has received multiple industry honours.


As Founder and Managing Director of Amplify, Sheena plans and leads multi-channel PR and marketing campaigns for clients spanning independent artists, boutique festivals and large-scale outdoor events, as well as major record labels, book publishers, television producers and filmmakers.


She oversees campaign strategy from narrative development and positioning through to media execution and long-term reputation building.


Alongside her agency work, Sheena is an artist manager and former Lead Lecturer in PR and Marketing at BIMM Dublin, and regularly speaks at international music industry conferences.

Matt Harris

Senior Account Director

Matt has over 20 years experience in the music industry in the UK, Ireland and Germany as an artist and producer.


Matt formed Veta Records in 2012 which grew into the artist collective Veta Music focussing on artist development from the very early stages of music projects including the likes of Maria Kelly and HAVVK.


As Amplify’s Senior Account Director, Matt works closely with artists and organisations to shape release strategies and plan multi-channel PR and marketing campaigns, spanning single releases through to large-scale outdoor concerts. He oversees campaign planning from early positioning and timelines through to delivery, ensuring each project is strategically aligned and commercially grounded.


Alongside his campaign work, Matt leads Amplify’s client strategy and business development, working at a senior level with partners to build long-term relationships and sustainable growth.


Matt is passionate about helping artists to record, release and promote their music in the most rewarding ways possible and in helping others to benefit from his experience while building positive momentum around their projects.
